Sea World Orlando officialy annouced yesterday a new roller coaster named Manta will open in 2009. It will be a B&M flying roller coaster themed to manta rays.
I know the final ride may only barely resemble the concept art for it, but from the pics, it looks like it'll come really close to touching the water in a few places, possibly with some water effects to make it appear like you're skimming the water.

It's a flying coaster. Not an inverted coaster. Besides, Busch Gardens (which owns Sea World,) already has a bit of experience with coasters "playing" in water.
