Tropico 2/Pirate Scenery and Shops Options

Great scenery, thanks!

I have always stayed away from the pirate scenery because I thought the pirate ship looked so yutzy.

You can bet that I have been having a blast, I even added The Amazing Earls Pirates to my "stash", including the ghosts!

Sorry to bump this topic... But I thought there MIGHT be an intrest in a way to "extend" the ship slightly, to make it longer.



Here you can see I used a colorable roof from the Argonath collectoon on the deck of the ship. This added a but of detail, that helps blend the extention into the rest of the ship. On either side, you can see the addition of some fence, to keep the lines from the bow, to the midships and the stern from being "noticably" broken.



Yeah, "Why are there paths to the ship?" Because a dark ride be down there... Somewhere... Soon.



The paths inside was the whole reason why I had to figure out how to extend the ship. Which brings to mind an idea...

Why not make objects that can extend the ship, (just aft of the bow,) that are custom made to look like the original objects? I just extened the ship with four extra "side blocks" a few full tile base blocks and an Argonath roofing object. Which worked well in a pinch. But it would be a good add-on to a fantastic object like this ship.

Oh WOW! Thang GAWD I found this topic again!
My game went goofy on me and I had to delete it and all it's contents went with it.


I'm so freakingly happy that I found the themed tabs & the honkin' cool ship again!
