Thanks Fossil................one more question regarding the 8 cars trainer. I've been reading as much as I can about it, hoping to somewhat familiarize myself with the program, and I've seen quite a few posts about coasters crashing when the trainer is being used. Any truth to this and, if so, what can you do to avoid this?

LOL....also, what does "SOP" refer to in your last post?

Thanks again,
K0NG

SOP usually mean Standard Operating Procedure, which basically means that he does it out of force of habit before releasing anything.

Give PF a see-gar for nailing the SOP.

I never noticed any difference with coasters while using a trainer. However, I don't normally run the game with a trainer. I just use it as a development tool.

Regards.

KONG, I don't think coasters crash while using trainers. I think it's the game itself that sometimes crashes when using a trainer, but it occasionally crashes even without using them.

"...And also don't do a scenario the first time(s) where you need to build in game mode and convert the saved game to a scenario because you will find in game mode you have forgotten some essential things while still in the editor and you won't be able to restore it without having to build everything over again."

This is not ENTIRELY true, there is a way to do this.
Create your scenario and open it, look around and see what you want to change. TAKE LOTS OF NOTES!!!!! ( myself, I usually change the land tiles to a different type, so I know exactly where I wanted to make changes. wink)
Next, save your game with no changes or any changes, as long as you don't build any rides, you should be okie dokie.
(if you add rides, the queue and exit paths will have to be removed, if you choose. Any scenery changes should come through no problem.)
Now, open the scenario editor.
Click the menu to load landscape, and pick either your original scenario file, OR your saved game file.
Edit your landscape, and save it as either the same scenario, or a new one.

I drive way too fast to worry about cholesterol!!

If Wyle E. Coyote had enough money to buy all that ACME crap,
why didn't he just buy dinner?
