 RCT Web Ring, Affiliate Networking Opportunity |
Advertising at RCTmart
Other RCT sites are encouraged to advertise here. In order to create a new post in this forum you must contact an administrator who will apply the Affiliate access to your permissions. RCT*Mart Affiliate sites are provided their own forum to organize their posts; other sites are welcome to post in the main forum but must still meet the following guidelines:
- Any site advertising here should be related to RollerCoaster Tycoon 1, 2 or 3 game-play. Any site listed here must also meet the RCTmart Terms of Use (may not contain adult content, etc.)
- Partner sites may post links to content on their own site, but may not include the content itself in their post. Think of this as a teaser for what you're doing on your own site; don't give it all away here.
- All links included in the posts must resolve to an existing page on your site. Broken links will result in the post being deleted by our moderating team.
- We request that your site provide a similar advertising section where we can advertise RCTmart events, contests and/or promotions.

We're pleased to announce that we've set up, in conjunction with one of our members - Skyvanman - a new means for RCT sites to network among one another.
The RCT Web Ring is a unique way for RCT fan sites to link to one another and to share traffic as well as members. For those of you not familiar with web rings, you will notice it on the home page of member sites. When a site registers with the RCT Web Ring they are added to the member list, which visitors can access from the links on each member's home page. Visitors can also visit the next, previous or a random site within the ring by clicking the appropriate link. Currently 5 sites are signed up with the ring: RCT*Mart RCT2.com UCES Fossil's Dig Site Ultimate Roller Coaster Tycoon To view the web ring home page, go to http://www.joedoug.com/rctring/index.php?ring=2 Qualifying sites (you just have to be an RCT site to join) are able to register and submit their sites. Once you register your site (by clicking the "Add Site" link) you can click the "Get Code" link which will spit out the code you need to add to the bottom of your home page in order to ge the RCT Web Ring links to show up properly. All RCT*Mart affiliates are encouraged to join the RCT Web Ring as this is a great networking opportunity that can help not only the RCT Community but the individual member sites as well! And a big thanks to Skyvanman for setting the Web Ring up and for hosting it! Job well done! |

Everyone with an RCT Related website please join. This is a great way to share hits and expose visitors to new sites and get peopel to come to your site. For example so far UCES has over 60 hits because of this webring and that was just in the testing phase with only a few people in it so this webring should bring visitors to your site. Feel free to join and add your site. Make sure to include the http:// in your site url or the webring wont direct sites to your site. Also remember this is for fun and is supposed to be fair to all so make sure you follow the rules and put the code on your site. Thanks

QUOTE put the code on your site I just noticed there are two sites in the webring that did not place the code at the bottom of their main page. For this to be effective you must do this. Otherwise it wont work. I think this is a great idea Skyvanman. Thank you for bringing the community together. |
