Thanks, everyone, for the kind thoughts.

I'm happy to report my recovery is going well and I've had some time to work on the Minas Tirith release.

The scenery is pretty much completed, though there may be one or two pieces I can add last-minute (on sets like this I always come up with new ideas up until I release the sets), and I've made some good progress on the scenario.

At this point it's looking like there will be 4 new shops, 3 new paths and 4 new tabs:

1) 1x1 Tile Towers (67 objects)
2) 2x2 Tile Towers (65 objects)
3) Gates, Arches and The Citadel (73 objects)
4) Walls, Domes, Roofs and Accessories (82 objects)

Here's 2 screenshots of some of the detail of the city's levels:

and

Work is slow because building is rather tedious, but I hope to have more for you soon!

I hope you enjoy the teaser.

I can't believe the amount of detail that you put into each of these sets - they are simply amazing !!! bananarock.gif May I ask how you create these sets (3d program, MS Paint, etc) ?

Looking forward to the final release (and perhaps some more teaser pics before then) !! bananalama.gif bananaxmas.gif

First of all... what's my av? smile.gif Secondly, I do everything in Photoshop. I've never had the patience to learn any 3D programs. Though I should mention the catapults/trebuchets you see were made by VelvetFoxx using a 3D program. The rest was all created using Photoshop.

Nope... just trying to get finished with LOTR... then we'll see what's next... if anything. wink.gif

Well, they're old mountains (from the Harry Potter set) that are now color mapped. There's an entire set of the Moria mountains that are color mapped, too (to give the grey rock color the city had).
