Most RCT1 tracks can be converted to RCT2 using the roller coaster design manager. You can load, delete and rename tracks to your heart's content.

To use it, just tell it you want to load a new track and navigate to where your RCT1 tracks are located. Select the track you want to use in RCT2 and click on the save/load button. This will put the track file in your RCT2 tracks folder. You can now use the roller coaster designer to fine tune the track. When you save it, you'll have a brand new RCT2 track.

I have a lot of tracks for rct1. I could maybe convert them, and then release it in one pack in the rct 2 aisle. But i will have to choose what coasters i take, because there are coasters of when i just had the game, and they are really bad !
See you !

They stay .TD4, but they do work with RCT2 which is all that matters, thus there is no need for me to upload anything. banana-rainbow.gif

Yes, Velvet you can do this! When in the track manager, click the "import track" button in the upper right corner. Browse to your RCT1 track folder & open! It will import into the game as long as the same elements are available in RCT2. It will let you know if the track is incompatible. Works great! banana-grin.gif

Well I'm going to start over on everything when I get my rollercoaster tycoon 2. Should I just go ahead and remove rollercoaster tycoon 1?

well, that's what i did when i had RCT2. Everything of the first is in the second so, but there are more things in the 2nd, so you can remove the first, i think...
Maybe just keep your cool tracks from RCT1 to convert it as RCT2 files..
