Just a note to RCT*Mart members. We've created a new user group called "Idle Member" which will be used to help us clean house a little and organize non-active members into a separate, manageable group. We're currently going through the membership and moving anyone who hasn't posted since October 1st into this new category.

If you find yourself part of the Idle Member group you'll notice your access to the forums will become somewhat limited. You'll also notice your name appears in brackets and in italics in the member list on the site, [like this]. All it takes to regain full access is for you to post in one of the areas visbile to you (which includes most of the welcome, general discussion, and games areas). Once you post, your account should automatically upgrade to full membership once again.

We're doing this for a variety of reasons, but primarily we want to keep more accurate records of regular members who are actively participating here at the Mart.

If you have any questions about this new set up, please let us know. We expect it will take some time to roll-out through all of our members, and will take quite a bit of work as it appears over 300 of our members here have never posted.

Nope, just for people that have 0 post count, and registered on or before October 1, 2004.

Also, does anyone happen to know if there is there a script that moves people to another group if they have not posted within X days for IPB?

Not that I know of - certainly this is less likely with this version of the board software. Check out Invisionize to have a look (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

BTW, I think it's a good idea Brad. Nip the problem before it becomes difficult to manage and you'll save a lot of time later on.
