Thanks for all the kind and warm comments everyone. It's good to be back!
As for the Depot link, I realized Sunday that they had closed, but I was leaving it up for a while in a sign of good sportsmanship. However, it will be removed by the end of the week. -OJ |

I just noticed you have added a subscription thing.
And usaly, that means you have to pay for certian things. In this case you have Access To All Files as something you have to pay for. Charging for files is against the law last time i checked. Unless of course, you have permission from the file creators. |

QUOTE(DoomOfDays @ Jun 28 2005, 11:27 AM) I just noticed you have added a subscription thing. And usaly, that means you have to pay for certian things. In this case you have Access To All Files as something you have to pay for. Charging for files is against the law last time i checked. Unless of course, you have permission from the file creators. You need to re-read what was posted there DoomofDays, it in fact says this: QUOTE Why Subscribe? Access to all forums. Access to all files. Unlimited storage for your own files. Game support/help. It's free! Subscribe Now! Note that it is free? They are merely asking people to take a moment to registar as members, that in turn allows them access to items not available to to guests. They are charging for NOTHING. That is no different that the system used at many other web sites - including here at The Mart. |

Right, RCT Resource has no intentions of charging people to access our features, we only ask that you atleast register (and hopefully post around a bit).
After all, if we're going through all the hard work to keep our content (though small at the moment) online, we don't think that is asking too much in return for allowing you to use them. However, since all the files posted at RCT Resource were put there with the permission of their creator or by their creator, it would not be illegal to charge for the files. If you check out http://www.thesimsresource.com, they've been doing that with The Sims files for years now. |

I couldn't read that post, because you have to register just to read what you are registering for. >_>
