Hello there,
my RCT 2 CD is broken when I wanted to reinstall RCT2. Can anybody help me?
P.S.If there is no other way, I�ll took an CD-image from anywhere from the web, I think this is only allowed if I have the real CD.
P.P.S.Don�t come me up with american rights, because I�m living in Germany.

I had a similar problem a couple of years ago.
My CD somehow got scratched and would not work.
I had to think..."did I want to give up RCT2 or should I buy another CD"?

So I bought another.

Obviously, we dont like having to buy the same item twice, but I think that is your only choice.
If you check on Amazon or Ebay, you may get a much better price

Thx for the tip, but maybe I�ll find somewhere a RCT2-Pack with all Add-Ons for 10€, or in US$ for 20$.

If you do happen to find the Triple Thrill Pack, there's a product in the stores in the US called d_skin. It's a clear piece of plastic that clips onto the CD/DVD and keeps the disc from getting major scratches. Won't keep it from getting broken, but every little bit helps.

I found mine at Wal-Mart. I wish I'd found them sooner though. I've had to 'resurface' my RCT2 disk to remove the scratches. Still works OK as far as I can tell, but I don't take my disk out of my PC much anymore.

Thx for the help dudes, but i�ve found a safety-copy of RCT2 wich I nearly forgot. The once problem is that I have to cheat on the game, so I�ll have to put the broken CD in the CD-Drive and start RCT2. And when the "Load game..."-window appears I must have to swap the broken CD with the safety-copy quickly, then I can play just like with a new CD.
PROBLEM SOLVED!

If the CD is scratched, you might want to get a Skip Doctor. This buffs out the scratches. I used it on a few music CDs and they work great. They work on data disks & DVDs too. I got mine at a music store. There are manual & electric versions. Expensive, but worth it when compaired to replacing a 1/2 dozen disks or retrieving data on a burned CD rom.
