Hey everybody,
It's become traditional that I do one of these every year, so without futher ado here's the list of what new rides to expect round the world for 2007

Adventure Island, UK
Their new coaster Rage will be located on the site of the old Log Flume. This will be the second UK installation of a Eurofighter coaster, Rage being smaller than Speed: No Limits at Oakwood. It is Gerstlauer's new 320+ layout featuring 3 inversions in a compact layout.

Alabama Adventure, USA
Will be adding several new rides for 2007 and 2008. These include two new water rides and four new family rides. New themed areas are planned to contain these.

Aventura Selvagem, Brazil
The park plans to construct the Tornado from Playcenter São Paulo inside a Volcano facade. The Tornado is a Schwarzkopf Jetstar 2.

Blackpool Pleasure Beach, UK
Looks to be added Traumatizer from the defunct Pleasureland Southport. This Vekoma SLC will be located on the site of the old Log Flume. No offical annoucement has been made yet however.

Boondocks, USA
Is planning to add a small oval tracked kiddie coaster. Nothing more is known.

Busch Gardens Africa, USA
Sheikra is planned to get a refit. Yep, sometime after Griffon opens, Sheikra will also be upgraded with floorless trains. I suppose this makes up for them not having Python next year.

Busch Gardens Europe, USA
Is joining it's sister park and also adding a B&M Dive Machine. This rollercoaster will be called Griffon and features wider, floorless, 10 seats per row cars, as well as 2 inversions and a water splashdown. It is being built on the site of the old Le Mans Raceway ride.

Camelot, UK
They have recently aquired the BMRX coaster from the closed Kobe Portopialand. Being as they have announced a 'Big new addition' it looks likely that this Schwarzkopf classic has found a new home. It is rumoured that Gauntlet will be removed (And has been sold to some park down south, poor people) to make way for the ride. If this is true it's a brilliant exchange, if you've read my review of Camelot, you'll know my thought's on that pain machine. Camelot are also rumoured to have purchased Pleasureland Southport's S&S Spaceshot, which may be another possible addition next year.

Caralina Crossroads, USA
Has purchased and plans to rebuild the Zippin Pippin wooden rollercoaster formerly located at Libertyland.

CarthageLand, Tunisia
Are presently building a Soquet rollercoaster, however this park has been under construction for sometime so don't get your hope up. According to the park map this attraction will be located to the very back of the park.

Casino Pier, USA
Look to have nearly finished Pirate's Hideaway, an enclosed Wisdom coaster.

Cedar Point, USA
Cedar Point have annouced Maverick, their 17th rollercoaster. While it isn't a record breaker, Maverick will feature a LIM launched first hill, several themed canyons, a 95 degree drop and 2 corkscrews. It is built on the old white water landings site.

Cherry Valley Golf and Games, USA
Have erected a small trailer mounted rollercoaster built by Molina & Son's. It will be called Tidal Wave and will hopefully open next year. It was previously owned by New York showman.

Cobac Park, France
Plans to add a Soquet rollercoaster that's nearly a km long. The ride will be called Corsaire but the location is not yet known.

Conny-Land, Switzerland
Conny-Land is planning to build the tallest rollercoaster in Switzerland, by adding a Pax Loop 520 rollercoaster that will strech out over the entrance to the parks carpark. The ride will be just over 137ft tall at it's highest point and feature a loop during it's course. The ride design is simular to a Schwarzkopf shuttle loop.

Cypress Gardens, USA
Hopefully will build the Starliner coaster, which was supposed to be opened last year.

DelGrosso's Amusement Park, USA
DelGrosso's have purchase the revolution from the closed Libertyland and plan to open it for 2007. No further details are known.

Disneyland Paris, France
Walt Disney Studios in Paris will become home to a whole new area including Crush's Coaster, a Maurer-Sohne SC2000 coaster with an extended start. This will be found in the new Toon Studio's area along with a Cars themed attraction, the Cars race rally. In addition the Twilight zone area of the studios will add a Tower of Terror (A well themed drop ride).

Dollywood, USA
Dollywood continues to expand, spending $17 million on Mystery Mine, the USA's first Gerstlauer Eurofighter coaster. It is located behind the Timber Creek area.

Drievliet Family Park, The Netherlands
Has released plans for their fourth Maurer-Sohne rollercoaster, a very compact launched X-car coaster, to go with the two Spinning Coasters and the Wild Mouse, they already have.

Duinrell, The Netherlands
Plans to add the second Gerstlaurer Eurofighter 320+ model in Europe next year. This one will rejoice under the odd name of Rick's Delight (one for you ekimmel) and is to be built on the old Batflier site.

Dutch Wonderland, USA
This park will be adding a squirrel themed tilt-a-whirl next to Trapeze. They are also looking at renaming the Sky Princess wooden coaster.

Efteling, The Netherlands
After the failure of Kumbak Coasters first coaster to open last year, it is rumoured Intamin have been brought in to sort out a problem with the rides lift hill. Hopefully this mean's that this beautifully themed water coaster will open next year.

Heide-Park Soltau, Germany
Keeping with the Tussaud's tradition of adding Intamin Accelerator coasters to their parks (Alton Towers - Rita Queen of Speed 2005, Thorpe Park - Stealth 2006), Heide-Park has annouced that their new attraction will be an Accelerator coaster themed to an off-road rally. Desert Race will be located next to Collosus and feature a ground-hugging layout rather than the usual launch up a top hat.

Holiday World, USA
Holiday World is expanding their thanksgiving area with a themed tilt-a-whirl called Turkey Whirl. They are also adding a new slide to their water park.

Joyland, USA
This is the park in Lubbuck, Texas. They are installing Six Flags Astroworld's Greezed Lightnin', a Schwarzkopf Shuttle Loop. Name and Location currently unknown.

Killarney Springs Family Park, UK
Killarney Springs have entered the rollercoaster park ring by purchasing the Runaway Coaster from Funland (formerly Rotunda). This means that the oldest touring rollercoaster in the world has been saved. The name and location in the park of this side friction wooden rollercoaster isn't known at the present

Knobels,USA
Knobels plan to finish and open the Flying Turns coaster that started construction last year. The design of this unique coaster dates back to the 1930s and it will be unique in the world.

Knott's Berry Farm, USA
Is adding a new Camp Snoopy area for children. It is rumoured that this will contain a small spinning rollercoaster.

Lagoon, USA
Lagoon are building a Zierer launched coaster over part of their car park. It is rumoured to be launched up a first vertical hill and feature at least 1 inversion.

Lightwater Valley, UK
Is rumoured to be adding Pleasureland Southport's old Kaos ride. Location and name currently unknown.

Linnanmaki, Finland
Linnanmaki will install one of the two new Intamin Zac-spin rollercoaster. This is Intamin's 4D coaster previously refered to as the ball coaster. The ride will be called Kirnu and will be built in between the funhouse and the performance stage.

Little A-Merrick-A, USA
Little A-Merrick-A hope to finish construction of Meteor, the PTC Junior Coaster they built last year. This adds a family wooden rollercoaster to the park and brings them up to 4 rollercoasters. The ride is built in the middle of the midway.

Marineland, Canada
Should finish construction of their walrus themed Huss Topple Tower and open it for 2007.

Movie Park Germany, Germany
Has removed their Cop Car Chase coaster(it's been torn up for scrap after being on sale for part of this year). It is to be replaced by a Stargate Atlantis ride, a small water ride and a Vekoma Suspended Family Coaster (actually a family inverted coaster). No rumours on name.

Pleasurewood Hills, UK
The Missile, American Adventure's Vekoma Boomerang has been sold to Pleasurewood Hills and will be erected in 2007 as Wipeout. Wipeout has obtained planning permission, and will build the park where Mousetrap used to stand in the centre of the park.

PortAdventura, Spain
PortAdventura has announced that they are building Furious Baco. It will be the first coaster to use the new Intamin Wingwalker Cars, have a barrel roll inversion and will use a launch to 83.9 mph to become Europe's fastest rollercoaster. The ride will be themed to be a machine for carrying wine barrels and will be located in Mediterrània with part of the ride extending over the lake.

Schererville Fun Center, USA
Are adding Wisdom family rollercoaster. This will be an indoor attraction but little else is known.

Seaburn Fun Park, UK
Seaburn continue to build their Pinfari Zyclon Rollercoaster, it is suspected that this is a ZL42. It has been underconstruction since 2003, so there is a strong chance it won't open this year, speed is obviously not of the essence.

Seaworld San Antonio, USA
The third Seaworld park will finally get a Journey to Atlantis ride, rather than a Mack Water Coaster however this ride will be a Mack Supersplash. It is very simular in concept to Atlantica Supersplash at Europa Park with two turntables to allow the boat to have a backwards drop.

Silver Dollar City, USA
Plans to build an S&S Screaming Swing themed around a barn. It will probably be a 32 seat version.

Universal Studios, Japan
They plan to add a B&M Speed Coaster, called Hollywood Dream: The Ride. The ride layout is rumoured to circle most of the park.

Valleyfair, USA
Ekimmel's prayers are answered, Valleyfair are getting a new coaster. Renegade is GCI's second creation for 2007 and features both out and back and twister sections of the layout. It will be built towards the back of the ride.

Walygator Parc, France
Previously Walibi Lorraine, the new owners of this park are installing a family coaster this year. Nothing is known about the name, location or manufacturer, although I would not be surprised if the new coaster turns out to be a Big Apple/Wacky Worm clone.

Having a new spinning coaster in Knott's is definitely true. The ride is being built by Mack. Also the name of the coaster is Sierra Sidewinder.
