A High Excitement Monster Truck Ride

I chose Fire and Ice for the December Spotlight because of its exceptional stats and unique theme. The RCT2 Monster Truck Ride stands out from the other RCT2 gentle rides because of its capability for steep hills. This increases the excitement rating of the ride. It took some work, but with perseverance I not only took the excitement rating of this ride to the "High Excitement" (5.12) threshold, I blew right by it.
This ride will "carry the load" - 28 trucks that can carry up to 56 guests at a time, which compares favorably with many coasters. RCT2 has altered the concept of gentle rides - it's possible to build high excitement, high capacity gentle rides, with a price tag to match.
Fire and Ice is a "Self-Racer" - it has two stations that are adjacent, so they can be synchronized. With 28 trucks, it takes a few minutes of running to distribute the trucks around the track. Once this is done, check the "synchronize with adjacent station" checkbox, and raise the excitement further.
Cautions: Despite its low nausea rating, some guests may have digestive problems with this ride. This ride is too expensive to use at the start of a scenario; wait until the cash is flowing - the ride's high carrying capacity can help get you "over the top" at the end.
