If you follow the installation instructions on the UCES website, it will recommend that you install the download into the default /Program Files/Inforgrames Interactive/Rollercoaster Tycoon 2/ folder.

However, a lot of people did not like the fact that the installer just... well... installed everything into their ObjData folder, especially given the object limits set by the game.

If you want to have greater control over what custom objects get installed, I've recommended to people in the past that they install the program into /Program Files/Inforgrames Interactive/Rollercoaster Tycoon 2/UCES/ folder (create one or let the installer create it).

I believe within that /UCES/ folder the installer will create /ObjData/ as well as /Scenarios/ and /Tracks/ folders.

You can copy the individual scenarios into your /Rollercoaster Tycoon 2/Scenarios folder one at a time and that way you don't get tons of new objects in your /ObjData/ folder at once. You can also copy over just the objects or tracks that you like this way. (If you want to know what .DAT name corresponds to which objects, you can now look them up by .DAT name at www.rct2db.com, the RCT2 Object Database, which has been updated with all the UCES objects.)

For a complete list of the scenarios and the individual .DAT files they will install, aetherwave made a great technical spec document which you can find on the UCES download page (or here: http://www.rct2uces.com/files/UCEStechnicalData.txt)
