Everytime i try to install RCT 3, a message keeps popping up and says

Component: US
File Group: USA
File:
Error: The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.

i live in hong kong, but i can't see why i can't install this game. Can someone please help? thanx

Perhaps there is a region effect used on RCT3 like those used for DVDs? Only a guess, but I've heard that lots of people are having problems with RCT3.

i found out that the problem is related to the "regional and language options" of the control panel. no wonder US users don't have this problem.
