Close a topic after no one uses it for a month.
There are n00b spammers that will bring up topics from a year ago (When It has been a year).
I get really annoyed because of that.

I don't think we should use the term "n00b", everyone is new when they begin, and that term is derogatory. Who knows, a "n00b" might actually be the next Dr. J or Amazing Earl. 
I also disagree that a topic's validity expires after 30 days. Something older than that can still garner constructive comments. And there's LOT'S of interesting topics that are old...if someone can add something to them, why not? The mods here do a great job, I would suggest letting them monitor whether someone is abusing the system. This certainly isn't something to get annoyed over.
