Dateline Gravity Gardens, January 5, 2003 - 2 peeps were killed in a crash on Wild Mouse Racer 13 x 6 after only 3 years of operation. Despite passing the rigorous ten year stress test, the coaster failed. Users of this coaster are advised that its reliability rating has been downgraded to "Unacceptable." Identities of the deceased are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

The steel mouse coasters that come with the game have decent ratings, are of reasonable size, and feature block brakes. So, what is the rationale for this coaster?

In a word, capacity. Wild Mouse Racer 13 x 6 has an even dozen cars. The coasters in the game are limited to five or six cars. This makes Wild Mouse Racer potentially far more profitable than the standard designs. The track length and ride duration have been carefully tuned so that cars won't back up in the station - as long as you bring enough guests into your park.

It took several revisions to this coaster before it was able to withstand the ten year stress test. The design presented here has successfully survived the test twice, and is suitable for use in many scenarios.
