A squeak ahead of the competition

There are two standard Wooden Wild Mouse track designs that come with the game. Cheesy Mice is odd - it looks like it slipped through quality control. It has only a 3.30 ex rating, and ten cars are too many for its track size - the cars back up in the station. You could get rid of four of them without the reducing carrying capacity of the coaster.
The other standard mouse coaster, Mouse Towers, is better. It has a nine car capacity, and decent ratings. In fact, the ex rating is almost identical to Mouse Racer 10 x 6; the intensity is only a few tenths higher.
Wood Mouse Racer 10 x 6 is an incremental improvement over Mouse Towers - slightly smaller footprint; one additional car; slightly better intensity rating, and excitement rating about the same as Mouse Towers - until you build a companion track to start racing, which then gives Wood Mouse Racer 10 x 6 the edge.
